Those small nuances speak in flavor of our products.

There are no moles in Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. When hay is cut to make silo on the continent, harvester blades cut close to the ground and because of the presence of mole hills, a little soil inevitably gets mixed in with silo. This includes good and bad bacteria in the soil.

In Saaremaa, however, no soil is mixed in with soil, so milk has a purer taste (because animal feed is cleaner).

Saaremaa is the Sun Capital of Estonia. According to Statistics Estonia, the sunniest area in Estonia is on Sõrve Peninsula in Saaremaa, where sunshine can be enjoyed for 2,101–2,200 hours per year.

The northern area of Puhtu-Laelatu Nature Reserve in Lääneranna Parish is the most species-rich wooded meadow in the world. The abundance of species in the nature of the islands and the western coast gives milk its special flavour.
Because small producers graze their cows on natural grasslands more frequently, their milk has more of that special flavour. In cheese production, the limestone base in Saaremaa adds to the characteristic by making cheese milk rich in calcium and promoting milk coagulation.

Mo Saaremaa Öko Mahepiim

Milk produced in Saaremaa is special because of its origin because the abundance of plant species provides the milk with a more abundant flavor bouquet, and this raw material produced naturally and ecologically in a cleaner environment gives milk and added value.saaremaa does not have long distances for transporting milk, and therefore there is no…

[142
69,143
post-3552","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-organic-milk","tag-mahepiim","tag-mosaaremaa-en","category-142","description-off
["GET
