🥇 Our Mo Saaremaa Butter Named Estonia’s Best Butter 2025!
On July 15th, as part of the XIX Milk Day organised by the Estonian Dairy Museum, the competition “Estonia’s Best Butter 2025” took place — and we’re proud to announce that Mo Saaremaa Butter, produced right here at Saaremaa Dairy Industry, was selected as the best industrially produced butter in Estonia!
Five expert assessors from TFTAK conducted the blind tasting – Rain Kuldjärv, Helen Vaikma, Maarja Maasikmets, Irina Stulova, and Kaisa Sild – who evaluated the butters based on appearance, aroma, consistency (spreadability and water retention), and taste.
🥐 This recognition is significant, as the competition revived a historical tradition. On August 20, 1937, Estonian butter was awarded top honours at the International Butter Competition in Berlin. We are honoured to carry that legacy forward.
